Whether you are an airline or an OEM, there are a range of RFID solutions to meet your requirements.  All solutions meet the ATA Spec2000 industry standard for data structure, meet the GS1/EPC Gen2 RFID industry standards, and the software itself has been tested and certified by the GS1 organization – the only aviation software in the world to have achieved this status. What those standards mean to you, the customer, is that you are buying into a standard solution – not a proprietary one – and it will work well into the future and with all the other RFID tags written to the industry standard.

Wondering what the FAA will think about all this?  Our customers have received full FAA approval to utilize RFID technology in their Maintenance Program.  Each customer has to have their own certification, but our solutions provide an FAA precedent for you.

RFIDAeroCheck

RFIDAeroCheck allows airlines a quick and accurate check for both the presence and expiration date of various kinds of Emergency Equipment in the cabin by walking down the aisle – O2 Generators, life vests, medical kits, portable oxygen bottles, smoke alarms, and dozens of other types of equipment. RFIDAeroSecure

This RFID application allows the placement and tracking of security labels (SecurTags®) on life vest boxes, rear lav wall access areas, and access panels in various parts of the airplane. Any unauthorized opening of one of these areas would be reported next time the plane is checked with a portable RFID reader. The entire cabin area can be checked for security violations in less than 2 minutes.  More…

RFIDAeroTrack

Where the AeroCheck and AeroSecure solutions are used for the on-aircraft solutions, RFIDAeroTrack is used on the ground in your facilities to track and monitor the movement of parts, processes, and people.  It can be used to track from Receiving Dock to storage area, from storage area to point of use in a hangar or in a back shop. It can also be used to monitor COMAT shipments from Base to Line Stations.  Originally implemented for fixed RFID readers, it now works in combination with handheld readers to provide more power and flexibility at less cost.  More…

RFIDAeroTag

RFIDAeroTag is a versatile program that is used by both airlines and OEMs to encode their RFID tags.  The program can handle Single Record, Dual Record, and Multi Record data structures to meet any industry need.  Depending upon the particular need, one version of the program is a PC-based application, generally used by OEMs producing large volumes of Single or Dual Record tags for the parts they manufacturer (e.g., life vests, O2 Generators, medical kits, etc.).  The other version for a handheld computer can do Single and Dual Record tags, but is especially useful for the physically large, Multi record tags requested by Airbus for their A350 program.  More…

RFIDAeroConfirm

RFIDAeroConfirm is a companion program to the PC version of RFIDAeroTag.  It is used to read and confirm all the data written into the tag.  It is also used in the return-and-repair cycle when items with existing RFID tags have been refurbished in the factory and new data needs to be written into the tag.  This application is part of the suite of tools that provides the lifecycle traceability.
